I have Windows Vista Home Premium. I just installed System Mechanic Professional 7, but the windows security centre doesnt recognize the IOLO anti virus that is part of SM. Be fore this I had a free version of Avista anti virus and everything was fine. Every time I start up, I am asked for the permission to let the iolo components (Anti virus, fire wall) to start. what should I do so the system recognizes Anti virus?

I had this same problem, today! I had to uninstall my bought and paid for Norton 360 and download Windows Live OneCenter antivirus (free for 90 days) and now everything is great. You can find it at Windows Live OneCare
