What is the most effective Antivirus, AntiSpyware, and other (firewall, defager, registry cleaner) program?free adware remover

I use AVG free anti-virus and anti-spyware. Just google free AVG and you get them. Also for a registry cleaner try glaryutilities.com. All work great and i've never had any problems with any of them.

For Anti-Virus I would reccomend Avira Antivir, Avast, or AVG free.

For Spyware I would reccomend Spybot Search and destroy or even better - Ad-Aware 2007.

For a firewall I would reccomend ZoneAlarm.

Windows has an inbuilt de-fragger just go to start - all programs - accessories - system tools - disk defragmentor.
