The virus vault of AVG antivirus?

i currently have two viruses in the Virus Vault of my AVG anitvirus free edition. what should i do with them? if they are in the vault, do they affect my computer? if i delete the viruses, will it delete the file that it was infecting as well? that makes me worried that i might lose an important file. i believe that there still may be viruses on my computer becuase of its slow speed for half an hour after i turn on the computer...

Delete the viruses that are in the vault you will be ok

NO it will NOT delete the file that it was infecting as well.

''The AVG Virus Vault application is a safe environment for management of suspect or infected objects detected during AVG Free Edition scanning.

Once an infected object is detected during scanning, and AVG Free Edition is not able to heal it automatically, you are asked to decide what to do with the suspect object. The recommended solution is to move the object to the AVG Virus Vault for further treatment.

Hope this helps!

I think you should not use the free version.
NO AVG is damaging your computer. The viruses in the virus vault are being backed up by AVG get Norton Internet security 2007 and download the 15 day trail off the website and then renew it will destroy the viruses and back up important files at the same time good luck with Norton
YES...u can delete an important file if u remove a virus .if u are using a rogue product..avg is pretty nice..so u should be ok to delete it

if the virus is in the vault..leave it there for a few days...if pc runs fine..then most likely u are ok and safe to delete...but yes...sometimes u can crash windows by removing files that were with virus.....while the virus is in the vault..it can not harm ur pc

my suggestion would be ..go here and here..download and scan with both of these online free virus and spyware scanners

yes..remove what they find
