Deleting a virus?

I know I have a virus infection on my computer, I found this free virus scanner and deleting thats suppose to be very good, accourding to a yaoo answer user. Its called Avira Antivirus personal edition classic. Its for free, and I used it to scan my computer and delete virus threats. However the pop ups still are comming and I used another free scanner, that program tells me I still have an infection. So what program is reliable, and what else FREE virus deleter and scanners work GOOD.

Sounds like you have spyware. Download the free version of Superantispyware. I use this program an it is well known to find what all other miss, or unable to delete in viruses and spyware. No conflict with your own antiviurs.

I have had good luck with it. It has detected Trojans that my other virus scan software did not detect.

trendmicro.com has something called House Call 6 that you can run for free. Do a complete scan.
